Misty of Slave
Since my very own bedroom is located on the east part of our house and my windows face the very spot where the sun usually rises, every morning, I often get woken up by the bright sunlight shining in my face and the slowly rising warmth as the sun steadily makes it way from up the not so distant horizon and this never fails to put a smile in my lips as I rise up to welcome each new day that the Lord has given me. However, there are some mornings when I want to wake up later than usual like during those mornings after spending long hours at the office over some deadlines or those weekend mornings where I just want to curl up in my pillow and sleep until noon time. That is the reason why last week I had requested my dear father to attach some faux wood blinds over my bedroom windows so I can control how much sunlight I get each morning depending on whether I want to wake up late or I want to be woken by the bright morning light that comes streaming into my warm and gloriously bright room. The blinds were purchased from the nearby hardware store and so far they have proven themselves to be a very good purchase since I can now opt to sleep straight in those mornings when I do not wish to be disturbed and sleep well into lunch time. My mom says that she is also now considering that maybe it would be a good idea to put some blinds in the windows in the living room area of the house after she saw the blinds in my room. She says that the afternoon sun can be kept out of the living room when it gets really obtrusive and harsh with the use of some faux wood blinds.
