The Guardian of the Pirates
Once we were kids, we almost always had that knack of bettering everyone else with what we have and we could do. This attitude sometimes became so much that even our parents were included in the picture without them knowing. My dad can do better than your dad or my mom can do better than your mom and some similar statements were rampantly uttered by us during those years. Unbelievably, even as we grow older, we can discover that it is still eminent in almost all of us; of course, there are some exemptions, there always is. And I can prove this assumption by giving you guys an example right now. Nowadays, a lot of people now own their own personal computers and usually when you look at them, they would almost always look nice because these owners would usually try to add as much spice to it as they possibly can. Why, even those who are lucky enough to have many funds would even choose a Mac for the sole purpose that it looks good besides its very hefty price tag. And for those who cannot afford or are not able to budget enough for a Mac would almost always think that a Windows is better than a Mac because they would use and buy a number of third party applications that could make this statement true. These programs that make your desktop interface look cooler include Style XP, Window blinds, to name a few. With the use of these programs, one could now change how your taskbar looks like, your wallpaper to be filled with widgets that float and even run around your screen, or your loading screen to be replaced with the screen you like. Truly, these changes can really make your desktop more beautiful, but the thing I need to ask is: what is it all for? I personally believe that the answer to that question can be found on the earlier assumption that I made that our trait when we were kids still exists within us despite the age we are in now.
